Amazon has just announced the launch of its new Fire HD 8 tablets with wireless charging. The tablets come in two different models, the 8.9-inch and 10.1-inch, and both have a 1280 x 800 resolution display. They also have a 1GHz processor and 512MB of memory. The tablets also have a microSD card slot for expansion, as well as a headphone jack and an IR blaster. The wireless charging feature is very convenient, as you can simply place your tablet on the wireless charger and it will start charging in no time. You can also use the included AC adapter to charge your tablet if you don’t have an outlet around.
The standard model comes with 2GB of RAM, which isn’t a lot, but the Fire HD 8 Plus bumps that up to 3GB of RAM. They also come with up to 64GB of storage, expandable up to 1TB using a microSD card.
