There are some anime characters that are just plain clumsy. They make terrible decisions, they’re always falling down, and they can’t seem to stay on their feet for more than a few seconds. Here are the seven most clumsiest anime characters of all time. ..

Fun word, right?

But in the spirit of equality we want to take look at not only the ladies, but also the gents, when it comes to this hidden comedic art known as clumsiness.

So here are my picks for the top anime characters walking around with two left feet.

10. Usagi Tsukino

Anime: Sailor Moon

Usagi is kind of an OG when it comes to the art of constantly falling face-first onto the pavement.

I swear, this girl can never turn a corner without bumping into someone. And every ball that’s flying through the air has at least an 80% chance of hitting her straight in the face.

But what can you expect? She’s so bubbly and full of life that her feet can’t keep up with her enthusiasm, or gravity for that matter.

And in regards to how safe it is for a clumsy person to also possess super powers, we cut to commercials.

9. Orihime Inoue

Anime: Bleach

It’s like if you just looked at Orihime’s resume, you would never even think that she’s as clumsy as she is.

I mean, she knows how to fight efficiently, she holds some serious power, and she has some major experience under her belt. And yet she can’t figure out how to run behind someone without also giving them a loving headbutt right after.

It definitely suits her personality though, as she’s a complete scatter brain who seems to be fantasizing every minute of the day.

8. Zenitsu Agatsuma

Anime: Demon Slayer

The thing with Zenitsu is that at any given moment he’s either having a heart attack or a meltdown, so even the slightest of spooks will have him on his knees or back praying to the lord.

It doesn’t even matter who it is, even a crow scared him half to death.

But, just like my previous pick, he still has his moments of glory. Be it he always has to be unconscious first, but when he gets in the zone he can one-shot any foe with surgeon-like precision.

That said, he barely knows how to hold up a sword while conscious.

7. Darkness

Anime: KonoSuba

Since we’re on the topic of warriors literally not knowing how to hold a sword, here’s Darkness.

With her it’s not so much the problem that she doesn’t know how to hold a sword, but rather that she has the precision and aim of a Stormtrooper.

But even Stormtroopers seem like geniuses because at least they shoot from a distance. Darkness can’t hit something right in front of her, even if that person isn’t moving.

I love her, but she really needs to get her act together.

6. Noelle Silva

Anime: Black Clover

Okay, I’ll admit that Noelle has gotten better at the whole “not falling on your face” thing in the latter part of the series.

However, there are still those first few dozen episodes where she keeps falling off her broom every time something Asta-related happens. And she can’t aim her water spells to save her life.

She does have the eye-hand coordination of a fish if she is flustered, but at least now she’s capable to go into battle. As long as she doesn’t think about Asta.

5. Ueno

Anime: How Clumsy you are, Miss Ueno

I feel like I literally have to include this one simply because of the name.

To be warned, you’ll be placed on several FBI watch lists for this show. It’s all about a high school girl, Ueno, who keeps either being pervy, having the deduction skills of a rock, or uh… falling onto some pointy objects.

Sure, Ueno’s antics are quite funny sometimes. And the contrast between her constantly flustered self and never-flinching Tanaka is quite the show.

But seriously, how horny you are, Miss Ueno.

4. Sheele

Anime: Akame ga Kill!

Sheele is probably one of the better known characters whose clumsiness is in the forefront of their character.

You could give Sheele any task in this world and there’s a 100% guarantee that she’ll either drop something, burn something, or lose something in the process.

The only exception is cold-blooded murder. Just give her something pointy and her once trembling hands are now the calm hands of a professional killer.

I’m really starting to sense a pattern between anime clumsiness and murder, to be honest.

3. Hanako Honda

Anime: Asobi Asobase

I want to focus on one key scene in this segment: specifically the shoe-throwing competition between the girls and the Shogi club.

You really have to admire Hanako’s clumsiness (or raw stupidity) in this scene, as she literally just throws her shoe at a 90 degree angle, making it basically drop at the starting line.

I also want to shout out the Shogi club president because this madlass went down with a bike to get maximum distance.

And sure, she won. But she mangled her entire body in the process. And I swear these two made me laugh more than they should have.

2. Mako Mankanshoku

Anime: Kill la Kill

Can we all just agree that Mako is the most lovable character of all time?

She’s just so full of energy. Each one of her monologues feel like a choreographed acid trip performed by a whole ensemble.

She’s also extremely naïve, to the point that you can literally trick her with a stick, a basket, and some cheese as bait.

So is anyone really surprised that she tends to fall flat on her face quite often? Thankfully the Kill la Kill gods also love Mako. So even in the most dire circumstances she still escapes with her life.

1. Wendy Marvell

Anime: Fairy Tail

Fun fact, Wendy nearly got crushed by falling debris because she was unable to keep up with a cat.

And you would think that would be her only fail when it comes to walking on slightly uneven terrain… but oh boy, does Wendy have plenty of stories like that.

I mean, she’s one of the youngest characters, and she lacks quite a bit of confidence. So it’s expected for her to certainly not be the coolest character… but come on Wendy, you even fell on even floor.

It’s a good thing you’re cute and our team needed a support.
